How do you charge?

Most engagements are scoped as a fixed-fee project (technology evaluation, FDD authoring, franchise GTM build) or a monthly retainer for ongoing advisory. Large procurement negotiations are sometimes structured against the savings we deliver. We discuss this openly on the first call.

How long is a typical engagement?

It depends on scope. A technology stack evaluation typically runs 6–12 weeks. A franchise go-to-market build runs 3–6 months. Ongoing advisory retainers continue as long as we're creating value — month-to-month after an initial term.

Are you really vendor-agnostic?

Yes. We don't accept referral fees, kickbacks, or commissions from any technology partner. Our only revenue comes from the brands we advise. That independence is the foundation of the business — and it's why operators trust the recommendations we make.

Will you sign an NDA?

Of course. We sign mutual NDAs on every engagement before any sensitive information changes hands.

Do you work with brands that already have a tech stack?

Most of our clients do. We're often hired to evaluate, optimize, or renegotiate existing relationships rather than to rip-and-replace. Sometimes the right answer is a small change; sometimes it's a new stack. We tell you which.

What size brands do you work with?

Anywhere from emerging concepts preparing for their first franchisee to multi-unit operators and multi-brand platforms. Our case studies range from 25-unit chains to 400-unit franchise systems.

Are you available outside Chicago and Detroit?

Yes — we work with brands across the U.S. and travel for site visits, RFP days, and franchisee onboarding. The Chicago and Detroit offices are our home bases.
